Lange Plumbing was founded in 1986 by Steve Lange as a division of GMS Builders and Lumber.  The company was originally founded to supply the builders with a plumber that could meet the time demands for a construction company.  The public demand for excellent and timely plumbing service helped the company grow into the largest service plumber in the Juneau County area.

On June 1, 1998, Steve Lange became the sole owner of GMS Plumbing.  The business name was changed to
Lange Plumbing Incorporated on January 1, 1999.
